According to my lecturer, in Canada, there is no circus... Because they say we are making fun of the animal when we ask them to perform... (side track, do u noe what is the most important tool when u are agains a tiger/lion/other fierce animal? It a stool, coz the stool got 4 legs, and the animal will lose focus when he sees the 4 legs.. coz donno which 2 focus on)
coming back to canada, and they claim that the animals heart beat would be abnormal, and that we are giving it stress, and sort like bullying it... so its no no

And since they love animals, they treat them like human gua... Here's another story he shared, on day when a group of deers was crossing the street, (donno where they heading to) a bus happens 2 passby and he stops to let the deer pass... why? coz by horning, they will be in a state of stress, and they might panic, and when they panic, they run all over the place, and they might end up getting hurt... but if this was to happen in Malaysia, the driver would be thinking, hw good if i could just catch them, and eat them for my meal or maybe sell some of them to the shop, then we can all eat deer meat... =p
i was thinking, they are so good, from a true story that my fren told me, an old lady wanted to cross this road in front of a shopping complex, and all the car just pass, and pass, nobody wanted to let her pass, so after awhile, there was a gap between the cars, so she pass, then this car came and horn her... so she shouted, "Zibra, zibra"... where got zibra in the middle of the city, in front of a shopping complex running wild... Its the zibra line she was crossing... LOL
if the above is to be true, then the old lady is worst than the group of deers... how sad...
