True Love- Reposted

It was a busy morning, approximately 8:30 a.m., when an elderly gentleman in his 80's, arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb. He stated that he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00 am.

I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour before someone would to able to see him. I saw him looking at his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound.

On exam, it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound.

While taking care of his wound, we began to engage in conversation. I asked him if he had another doctor's appointment this morning, as he was in such a hurry. The gentleman tol d me no, that he needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife.

I then inquired as to her health. He told me that she had been there for a while and that she was a victim of Alzheimer's disease.

As we talked, I asked if she would be upset if he was a bit late. He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not recognized him for five years now.

I was surprised, and asked him, "And you still go every morning, even though she doesn't know who you are?"

He smiled as he patted my hand and said, "She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is."

I had to hold back tears as he left, I had goose bumps on my arm, and thought, "That is the kind of love I want in my life."

True love is neither physical, nor romantic. True love is an acceptance of all that is, has been, will be and will not be.

HULK still has a heart.... in 2 situation that i can remember, LOVE overcomes everything and obstacles that are between them(Eliz Ross & HULK)

situation 1. when the helicopter start 2 fire the open field of Culver University, he(HULK) hugged her and protected her with his HUGE and gigantic body. after the blast, he didn't leave her behind but took her to a high mountain and let her rest there.

situation 2. where the 2 army vehicle that are fitted with ultra sound tried to push him down, even trying to kill him? then he saw Eliz Ross in front, at a distance away, and that gave him the courage to pull himself together, and be strong, for he has something to fight for. and he made it, the machine didn't manage 2 pull him down in the end.

applying back into real life, LOVE indeed can overcome many obstacles. While journeying together as a couple, there are bound to be obstacles in the way, it is the trust, perseverance, courage and holding on together and not letting go that holds couples together,(other than if there are agreement made for the relationship)...
To all couples out there, hold on together, and trust the other person. i believe many obstecles and barriers can be overcome together. the will power of 2 is better than 1. just take an chopstick as an example.

today i finish another part-time job of 4 days... the cheque has been banked in, hope it will clear smoothly and fast ba... although the amount is not big, but stil feel quite happy bout it...

one day, 2 good friends went to thailand together.
when they reach there, A said he wanted to go see the thai girl show.
then since B also nothing to do, he said he also want to go see the show with A.
upon reaching a club, B asked A:"why u bring me to a club? the tiger show not at zoo ke?"

Food: Big Portion enough
Environment: Not too noisy as its nt very near the main road, got a 32 inch plasma tv in the shop, and a projection outside
Pricing: On the more expensive side, maybe coz its a Designer cafe style
Location: Not very near the main road, good enough for such a cafe...
Will revisit: Why not if budget allows me to...
