Last lecture of sem 4

Today was the last day of my lectures for this semester... I MUST pass this time... really scared la...

Today was also the last presentation of 2 presentations i had to do this semester...the lecturer ask ME yes ONLY I can ask it... i juz tried 2 go round and round saying bout the same thing... then later my groupmate help me to answer abit... he ask every1 in the group and also other groups as well la... (this time is more like be there when u need to present...)

College is so empty

just now when i went to collect my exam docket...
i was expecting that there would be many people waiting to collect it... but to my surprise there was nobody... my department and also the college was so empty.... seems like the whole college is on holiday already... (some dept are on holidays for few weeks d)
the college seems like today is friday d... where has all the students from this dept gone?
Last time although we had the same empty time slot, we always hang around in the college... maybe they have gone out to have their lunch... After my batch and the may batch left, the main block seems more quieter... less people are around there....

Life is fragile

Yet another person has pass on to the next world... This time, its an old lady that stays along the houses that i will sure walk pass every time i walk out to the main road...
Every evening when i go and pack dinner, i wil see her sitting on her wheelchair outside her house to eat dinner while looking at the lively playground just opposite...
Recently i seldom see her in the evening any more... and i notice that more cars are comes to that house...
When i went out this morning, the tent was already up... and when i came back, relatives and friends are saying prayers for her... She might have died either because of old age or sickness...
May her soul rest in Peace... R.I.P

Car-scrapping policy approved

The government has approved a proposal for the voluntary scrapping of cars 15 years and older to boost the domestic automotive market, particularly Proton, industry sources said.

It is understood that Proton Holdings Bhd has been entrusted with the task of coming up with the details of the policy.

It has been decided that those who voluntarily scrap their cars will be offered a subsidy to buy a new Proton car.

Why Proton as a car maker, and who will receive the direct benefit be given the task to come up with the detaled policy? & of course the policy that would be out(if it is not out yet), would be in favor of Proton and not other car maker like Perodua or Naza. Isn't Policies to be made by the goverment? & why when u voluntarily scrap your car, u are only given 1 car maker to choose from? Isn't Perodua our countries second Car Maker? Why can't they give those people more choice of cars to choose from? Isn't this Policy favor to Proton ONLY...

One dealer explained that Proton was thus far the only car that actually fitted the bill because of its high local content.

"If other marques want to be considered for the scrapping policy then they could do so by increasing their local content as well," he said.

Proton has high car sales in malaysia because even Proton cars are not consider cheap as compared to the price that other country are selling their own car to its domestic market, what more other car foreign car makers that are having their car tax like hell... In fact, car sales of Honda & Toyota is considered alot... Lets not go into the Volvo, Merc, Bmw, Audi and those cars yet... just talking at the same level(same category of cars), if the other Asian made cars are sold at almost the same price as our national car(that is the national car is not given too much protection), i think its sale is sure to sub pass the sale of Malaysian made cars...

rain drops keep falling on my head

The rain has kept coming back since yesterday afternoon.... i was stranded at the bus stop along federal highway... many cars broke down(most likely due to water went into the radiator?) even expensive cars like Merc, BMW was not spared.... this morning, the rain has come back... it is very cosy and nice if u are able to sleep in... bt unfortunately, i stil have to go to college and the rain juz keeps coming... looks like i wil juz have to bring my "haapy feet" to college again... =)

For those who don't understand it, here is a English translation of it...

According to source and his blog... The Malaysia government plans to take action against him... he is currently not in the country but aboard in Taiwan... In my opinion, what he is saying in his rap/ song is truly happening in Malaysia. Our government refuse to accept the facts, and wanting to press charges against him for stating the facts. (the facts here is minus off those unpolished words)

What our government just don't want to admit what those people are saying, and wanting to charge them in court... what is happening to our goverment? The truth is always not so nice to listen to...

Why God made menopause

With all the new technology regarding fertility, a 65-year-old woman was able to give birth to a baby recently.

When she was discharged from the hospital and went home, her relatives came to visit.

They asked, "May we see the baby?"
"Not yet," said the mother. " I'll make coffee and we can visit for awhile first."

Thirty minutes had passed, and another relative asked,
"May we see the new baby now?"
"No, not yet," said the mother.

Pick pocket

This morning on the bus to college i almost got pick pocketed... (i think so) coz u can't know it until it happens... i some how tried to prevent it from happening... The bus this morning was so so so pack.. if we was sardine, maybe the manufacturer is trying to pack 2 cans into 1 can.... it was that pack... then as "usual" i put my hand above the hole to my pocket where my phone and wallet is... wat more i was standing at the exit door...(i always hear of people taking ur stuff while they exit.... take and run off the bus...

I felt there was this hand that came near my pocket, bt it was so packed so i juz touch it and "push" it away... He was like trying to hold his back pack... (1 side is on the shoulder while the bag is like hanging)... i wanted to just twist his hand, coz it was like always so near... (self prevention)

later when the bus was not as pack, i move to beside him, with more space in between and the pocket with my important stuff away from the exit door and him...

I donno if he is a malay or indon, because they look no different from each other... and i don't care, coz they look and act the same to me...

Bomb scare in college

Wed, 18 July 2007, my college had a Bomb scare… someone either tip-off the Police or the building management or my college management… those in the building was force 2 evacuate the building… This is the “2^nd fire drill” in a row… we just had our fire drill only on Tuesday. They had to take precaution even if u think its just another prank call….

Anyway, I was not in college at that time… (Or the whole day)

Then some of the students was talking bout the lecturer...

Like how "he" will run if there really is a bomb...

How another lecturer will look like if he kena bomb... "but then if the lights go off, they also can't see him"(i can't say raciest, coz it was said by a Indian girl.)

Malaysia education teach people to lie?

For SPM all the 36 nilai has been memories by heart, only to be use in the exam, and not really practical in the real life, seldom applying it... memorizing is just for the exam...

Exam time the essay ask"kalau negara anda melanda peperangan, kamu akan mendapatkan pelindungan dengan melari ke negara lain atau tidak?? huraikan pendapat anda"

To get marks, everyone will have to write that they wil not leave the country but stay back and fight it out together.... how many will actually really, whole heartedly, with no regrets stay back in the country...(not including its ur duty)

Malaysia education system teach people to lie.. You know why know lying is so common? coz the malaysia education system also don't accept the truth sometimes... answer are so narrow and fix, if u don't answer wat they wan, u get nothing even if its asking for ur answer or justification....

MPPJ Summon

From the day i move to DU, til now i still don't understand why MPPJ give summon to those cars park along the road(beside the road, not blocking anything)... even those parking along/ beside the playground are not spared, which is in front of houses.... even beside the house also the same... WHY??? they really nothing better 2 do? or they juz need more money? money to support the government in the coming election?

After seeing people putting "this car belongs to xx,jln ss21/xx. Damansara utama", "the owner of this car is xxx, of xx, jln ss21/xx" on their car windscreen, (all notice to inform that they are staying there...)
today i found another "interesting" notice on a car windscreen... so i snap a photo of it...


People actually have to go to this point of even showing their bill to "proof" that the car belongs to them and that they stay there... Note: the summon is RM100 each time, i don't think there is much discount coz its not police summon.

Vacancy (Movie)

So called Horror movie... if u are expecting to see some "ghost", then forget bout it... its not scary at all... maybe some part u might be scare but overall its nothing horror... but it super bloody, horribly Brutal... the way they hit, kick, and whack you is like hitting an object... the language they use is "wonderful".... if Malaysia censorship board was to censor out those words.. they wil certainly have a lot of "muting" and cutting to do...
Luckily i didn't use my money to buy the tickets for the movie... if not i will be damn sad... this movie was paid by MYC! my fren manage to get free tickets, so i tag along with him...

Nathaniel Tan

It is in the news that he has been arrested under OSA (Official Security Act)... the other act, which in my opinion is the most evil act in Malaysia Law, the ISA (Internal Security Act 1960) Juz a brief info on what the ISA is, this act enable the "government" to place u under arrest for up to 60(sixty) days without trial... meaning, they can keep u for that period without producing u in court. From what i have learn, the three plain-clothes individuals did not identify themselves or their designation but merely mentioned that they were part of the Special Branch and requested Nathaniel to follow them and bring along his laptop. They told him they “nak cakap tentang internet”. Note, they didn't say that he is under arrest... under The Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE), they should tell him that he has been place under arrest and not juz bring him away without telling him what he is arrested or brought away for... Today Nat has been remanded for 4 days... some of the other site that u could look at are Jelas.info & The cicak. They would have updated info on Nat, especially Jelas.

Countdown under

i'm dead tired, juz came back @ 11am from the 1 year count down to the 2008 WYD SYD... the event started since 9pm last night til this morning 7am++
the "special" thing that happen this year is i sprain my leg twice.. once coming down from the hall another time during the walk...
at the start of the event(9am), there was not a lot of people... but after the greetings, people came in large groups... after a short while, the hall was pack with more than 100 people...
the night was pack with lots of amazing programs... as i was part of the Crew, i wasn't there all the time... it was indeed a wonderful experience... when u join as a participant, and when u are a crew, the experience u gain is not the same... it can only be felt and not put into words...
many people didn't join in the walk because of the distance or other thing... we walk approximately 18KM from Pantai Hill(UM kl entrance), opposite University LRT station all the way to Bukit Nanas...
there was a drama titled, Prodical son... it is the story that i have seen, read, and listen to over and over again... but does this story of the son who ask for his share and came back empty handed juz another fairytale story that won't happen in real life? or is it something that can happen? if i was to do wat the son had done, i think not only my dad won't give me, bt he might even disown me....

(i noe there was many people who came into the world on this day) he is one of the many that was born on this day... he is none other than my male housemate, Mr Celestine Tan Xing Long... he would be, (eh, count urself la..) old this year... =)

Two tailed

does this sound familiar 2 those who took stats last semester? well its not the two tail test where alpha/2... i'm talking about my morning classes 2day... 1 was at the conference hall which is located right in front of the building... and the next class LT4 which is right at the other corner of the building.... it takes a good 5 minutes normal pace walk... therefore i had 2 tail classes.. =p

Me in shopping center at night

why when people see me in shopping center at night like see "ghost" wan.... Shopping center is public place and space, everyone also can go wan...why u all so surprise wan.... why u all can go there le? like i should not be there like tat... the truth is u all stay much further than me le... this can be considered as my "territory" d... its not surprising if i happen to be there at night... i should be asking how come u all r there...

Surf Up

Manage to catch the last session of this movie in GSC this afternoon... (i heard its the last)...
this movie is quite a smoothing one... non horror, non exciting, non suspances, non wat-is-next kind of movie... i enjoy it... i manage to learn a few things from it... for all i could remember now, is "Winning the competition is not as your friends" i think in our daily lifes, we often look at the rewards that we get and winning is all about glory and fame, and loser or winner but wat more important is how did we win? are we proud when we win it? Like Tank, he broke and look down on the small kids... although he won, but he was nt a role model to all younger kids unlike Z whom anyone can walk up to him... he is must a better role model... when we are in trouble, lets juz face up to it and not run away from it...

High & Low in maple

Low: after playing for quite sometime, from nothing at all til got all the 6, my party thing got loot by a Vac Hack... which suck ur stuff... then we had to start all over again collecting all 6 from the start....

High: althought out thing was loot by ppl, all my member didn't quit at ALL... until later when they went to sleep... such good people.... i'm sure they will go far in life, coz they are willing 2 stick with the group through thick and thin, good times and bad...

Randomness in class

First, we started talking bout the increase in the world oil price to RM71/ barrel(natural, unprocessed)... which each barrel is 159 liter...

then the topic change to the increase in the taxation on cigarettes, which is 60 sens?

then those ppl finish eating their food,(yes, we can eat "small food" in class)... they didn't wan to walk to the front to throw it in the dustbin, then my lecturer juz went and took the dustbin and brought to them, "who wants to throw?", then all also threw their "stuff"... LOL, such a good lecturer, take the dustbin right in front of you, for you to throw, u don't need to walk pun...

then, there was this few guys in the front row, "exchanging" their watches....

then went bc to the cigarette price, "who smokes?"... i think ALMOST the whole class, guys and gals also smoke... EXCLUDING me and some ppl...

then the title of a sub topic was, Transition period, "have you watch Transformers?" my lecturer was talking about it, and he wanted 2 go watch over the weekend, bt haven't watch it yet... so some1 ask him lo...
