As I was sitting in the post office today, there was this father of 2, he was also waiting to pay some bills, and as you noe(those who noe la) you have to take a number, if u donno then maybe u have never paid any bills before… after taking the number, he teach the little girl to look out for the number… and she was counting 1, 1, 1, 2… then the dad told her, the first 1 is thousand, then hundred, then 10 and two… it is good to teach ur children how to read it lo.. even thought they are stil very small, but their brain can remember it gua…
It bring to me remember back, something I and my fren discuss about quite long ago…
When we are small we think of small numbers like 0-10
As we grow bigger, we get in contact with bigger numbers…
Kindergarten- normally small numbers like 0-10 at most 2 digits
Primary- we start to get out little pocket money.
Secondary-larger sum of pocket money, normally talk in hundreds..
College-we now talk in few K…
When we go out to work-now we go into much bigger sums… ranking into millions and more…
